Meghan reportedly got upset over a question about mental health during her sit-down interview with CBS' Jane Pauley.

The former actress and her husband, Harry, appeared on the "Sunday Morning" show to discuss and promote their new project, The Parents Network.

During their conversation, Pauley said, "I'm dancing around this [Meghan's mental health claims] because I can see you're uncomfortable with me even going there."

Meghan responded: "I understand why you are though. I wasn't expecting it, but I understand why you are. When you've been through any level of pain or trauma, I believe part of our healing journey, certainly mine, is to be able to be really open about it. I haven't really scraped the surface of my experience but I do think that I would never want someone else to feel that way."

She added, "And I would never want someone else to be making those sorts of plans and I would never want someone else not to be believed. So, if me voicing what I have overcome will save someone, or encourage someone in their life to really genuinely check in on them, and not assume that the appearance is good and so everything is okay, then that's worth it. I'll take a hit for that."

Since the interview aired, many royal experts and broadcasters have shared their opinions on the clip.

According to the Express, royal author Angela Levin appeared on journalist Dan Wootton's "Outspoken" program to criticize the interview, claiming that Meghan seemed angry and upset.

Wonton said, "It certainly wasn't a good 43rd birthday for the Duchess of Sussex, was it? For their first sit-down together since Oprah Winfrey, back on CBS with another experienced American TV professional...despite all that, it was a real car crash."

In response, Levin said, "I imagine that's the sort of question, she wasn't there for that because she said 'I did not expect this.' But you could see she couldn't contain her anger and fury."

During another appearance on GB News, Levin spoke more about the Sussexes' interview and claimed that Meghan was seen "screaming" behind the scenes after the interview and was "very annoyed" at the line of questioning.

"After the interview was over, she was apparently screaming to the producers, very, very annoyed at what they had asked her," Levin said, per OK! Magazine. "You mustn't do that with Meghan because she's in control."

The author further stated that Meghan "couldn't stand" to let Harry speak during the interview.

She said, "She would look at him with such harsh eyes and such a terrible expression on her face because she didn't want him to talk, I imagine."

For months, the Duchess of Sussex has been teasing her followers with hints about a full-scale launch of her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard. The venture aims to bring a slice of her world into consumers' homes with a range of household items.

In pursuit of this goal, the former actress filed to trademark the products several months ago. However, recent reports reveal that the Duchess has encountered a roadblock due to "irregularities" with her application.

According to the Daily Mail, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, which is responsible for granting trademarks, has requested Meghan make "corrections" to address these issues.

While the extent of the irregularities remains unclear, it was reported that Meghan's application to the agency incorrectly classified some items, such as yoga blankets and recipe books.

Additionally, Meghan is expected to pay $11,382 in fees for the registration of the trademark to various entities if her application is ultimately approved.
